What’s the “summer” flavor?
I tested out many different flavors before landing on this combination. It might surprise you what I landed on.
You can take the base of this recipe and add any flavors that are your favorite. But if you are like me you might want something to go with each season, like a good pair of shoes.
Introducing… Caramel and Raspberry!
Like I said, this may surprise you. I would have never considered putting these together, until I remembered one of my favorite drinks to order at coffee houses. A breve with caramel and raspberry!
I used to work at Caribou Coffee in high school and college, and there was a regular customer who would come into the store and order a breve with caramel and raspberry. I always thought it sounded so strange. But once I tried it I was hooked!

My favorite instant coffee
Other summer flavors to try.
Here are a few other combos I tried there were also good!
Honey and Vanilla. Try 1 tbsp of honey and 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract instead of caramel and raspberry.
Honey and Lavender. Try 1-2 tbsp of honey and a few drops of lavender food extract, or 1 very small drop of organic lavender essential oil. This version is better with a little extra sweetener to help counter act the earthiness of the lavender.
